Attempted murder suspect turns self in to Kokomo police
KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Kokomo say a suspect in a recent shooting turned himself in on Thursday.
According to the Kokomo Police Department, on Feb. 2 around 2:30 a.m. police responded to the report of a person shot in the 700 block of East Mulberry Street. When they got to the scene they found 34-year-old Steven Landrum had been shot in the chest. Landrum was taken to a Indianapolis hospital for treatment.
On Feb. 3 police issued an arrest warrant for a suspect, 34-year-old Emmanuel Arrington, on preliminary charges of attempted murder.
Police say on Feb. 11, Arrington turned himself in at the Kokomo Police Department. He was being held in the Howard County jail.
