Barber uses embarrassing cuts as discipline tool

ATLANTA, Ga. (WISH) – A Georgia barber is offering to do something different to help kids behave.

Russell Frederick owns a barber shop in Atlanta.  He says he came up with the idea of giving kids bad haircuts when his own son started misbehaving.

“You have to be creative with your discipline. You can’t touch them for fear of police or law enforcement getting involved. I don’t whoop my kids, so that was the way I chose to discipline him at the time.”

Frederick is offering the haircuts to parents for free.  He also said his son’s grades have improved after getting the haircut.
