INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A gorgeous start to the morning with temperatures starting in the mid 60s!
Lots of sunshine to start the morning. It’ll be be a warmer day with temperatures running a good 5° above highs for Monday. Highs will settle into the middle 80s this afternoon. Possibility of an isolated showers with a majority of the area staying dry. Lows in the middle 60s with partly cloudy skies.
Warming up Wednesday with highs feeling a little more like the dog days of summer. Highs will inch closer to the 90° mark. A dry and mainly sunny day as high pressure dominants the forecast mid week.
Thursday a cold front will pass and will bring unsettled weather to the state. Temperatures will remain near seasonal in the mid 80s. Showers and storms will spread in by the early half of the afternoon. Some of them could turn strong to severe. Showers should move out overnight.
Friday will be a cooler day once the cold front passes. It stays sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Unsettled weather makes an appearance this weekend with a chance of scattered showers for the afternoon on Sunday with highs cooler than normal in the lower 80s.
