INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Benjamin Harrison Presidential site made a major announcement Tuesday morning.
The historical landmark will get $6 million for renovations.
The campaign will be called Old Glory, New Vision.
The new project will enhance more than two acres of the museum’s grounds and make renovations to the home of the 23rd President.
Governor Holcomb and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett were on hand for the announcement.
Construction is expected to begin in late April or early May.
The Benjamin Harrison Site gets about 30,000 visitors a year.
