Bicyclist dies after struck by SUV in Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — A man riding a bicycle died Monday night after being struck by an SUV in Anderson, according to the Anderson Police Department.
Just before 6 p.m., officers were sent to the intersection of Main Street and Haverhill Drive on a report of a crash with severe injuries. That’s on the city’s south side.
Upon arrival, officers found a female driving an SUV and a man riding a bicycle had collided.
The man had a serious head injury and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police are still investigating the crash and have not released the identity of the man.
