Bison treat comes out on top in Indiana State Fair food contest
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana State Fair on Friday announced the winners of the Taste of the Fair contest.
The top prize was the Bison Rangoon created by Red Frazier Bison. They will win a $2,500 prize.
Second place went to the Piggy Popcorn with Sweet Yum Yum sauce. It was created by Pork-n-More. They will get a $1,000 prize.
The third-place winner was the Deep Fried Sugar Cream Pie from Urick Concessions. They will take a $500 prize.
People visiting the fair cast their votes for their favorites, and these were the three that came out on top.
