INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Strong winds continue for much of the day, Sunday.
Powerful Saturday system continues to slowly pull away from the Midwest. In its wake, cloud cover and gusty winds continue for much of the day. Expect gusts to exceed 40mph at times through the morning, gradually falling back into the afternoon.
Temperatures will hold relatively steady through the afternoon, hovering in the upper 30s and lower 40s for most.
Gradual clearing will take place. Not as windy, but still a breezy evening and overnight on tap. Overnight lows fall to the middle and upper 20s.
Partly cloudy, quiet and seasonably cool. Highs in the middle 40s.
Temperatures remain near normal through Tuesday, before a big warm up moves in with an upper-level wave. Expect 60s on Wednesday and Thursday. Some areas could even flirt with 70° temps Thursday afternoon. Rain chances return by midweek, with the best chances coming Wednesday afternoon/evening. We’ll see temperatures falling back to the 40s after the midweek rain.
