Bomb threat clears out Knox County courthouse
KNOX COUNTY, Ind (WTHI) – The Knox county courthouse and courthouse annex were briefly evacuated Monday following reports of a potential bomb threat.
Knox County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and Vincennes Police responded to the courthouse around 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
An all clear was given around 3 p.m., and workers were allowed to return to buildings, according to WISH-TV sister station WTHI News.
Despite the clearance, many courthouse staffers elected to go home for the day.
There’s no word on whether police had a suspect in the case.
