Boredom may not be a bad thing during pandemic, researchers say
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – How many times has someone asked: “What are you doing?”
And how many times have you answered: “Nothing.”
Well, that might not be such a bad thing these days, researchers say.
On Friday, Dr. Mary Gillis, D.Ed., discussed why the COVID-19 boredom battle, while frustrating, has its benefits.
Gillis also talked about the biology behind boredom, the brain’s response to it and why doing absolutely nothing can actually help us grow.
