Breezy and cooler Sunday ahead
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Rain will wrap up Sunday morning, making for a cooler and windy end to the weekend.
Sunday:
An upper level low responsible for our weekend rain will slowly depart Sunday. Showers are expected to hang around through the late morning/early afternoon hours.

Skies will gradually clear Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to hit the 60s in most spots Sunday evening with some late sunshine.

Wind gusts could reach 30 mph at times through much of the day.

Sunday Night:
Skies will continue to clear, and winds will diminish. With colder air briefly settling in, watch for some frost to develop – especially in outlying areas, as lows dip to the middle 30s overnight.

Monday:
A pretty nice day is on tap. We’ll see sunshine to start off the morning, and quickly warm with partly cloudy conditions through the afternoon. Highs will top out in the middle 60s.

8-Day Forecast:
More rain chances are incoming for the middle of the week, with scattered showers and storms returning as early as Tuesday afternoon/evening. More widespread rain will move into the area for Wednesday, where much of central Indiana could see over 1″ of rainfall. Some lingering showers will be around Thursday morning before we quiet the pattern down Thursday afternoon into Friday. Temperatures should be close to average for much of this week, and we should see a nice jump by next weekend, with forecasted highs in the lower 70s on the way!
