Build-a-Bear ‘Pay Your Age Day’ on Thursday
(WFLA/WISH) — Listen up parents, for the first time in its history, Build-a-Bear is offering a Pay Your Age Day.
On Thursday July 12, all guests will be able to pay their current age in dollars. Yes, your 5-year-old will be able to pay $5. The stuffed animals are regularly priced between $6 and $75 but most sell for in the $20 to $32 range.
“It’s easy – how old you are is how much your furry friend costs,” said the message on its website.
The entire collection of furry friends is up for grabs, including the popular licensed characters such as Star Wars, Pokemon, My Little Pony, Super Mario, Paw Patrol, Marvel, Shopkins and Disney.
It’s the retailer’s biggest in-store deal EVER – and is a special offer for Bonus Club members.
To participate in the offer, parents or guardians over age 18 must enroll in the free Build-A-Bear Bonus Club rewards program or provide a valid email address and name, so that a guest, who is present at the time of purchase, can pay his or her age for a furry friend.
Adults, parents and guardians are encouraged to enroll in the Build-A-Bear Bonus Club online before arriving at stores on July 12 to save time at checkout.
This offer is only available in stores on one Make-Your-Own furry friend. Outfits, sounds, accessories and scents are excluded.
There are three Build-a-Bear locations in the central Indiana area: Castleton Square, Greenwood Park Mall and College Mall in Bloomington.
