Carmel IT staffing company plans to create 300 jobs

CARMEL, Ind. (AP) — The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says a Carmel information technology consulting and staffing company plans to create up 300 new jobs by 2021 with an expansion including a training center for employees and customers.

The agency says Carmel-based BCforward will invest more than $1 million over three years to establish the training center. The company is at 9777 N. College Ave., just north of 96th Street.

As part of the expansion, the company will hire for positions at both BCforward and a subsidiary, Stafforward, in technology consulting and administrative and clerical positions.

The state economic development corporation offered BCforward up to $2.6 million in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job-creation plans.
