Report says Adidas may have played a role in Langford choosing IU

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – The Washington Post says Romeo Langford picked Indiana because the school is sponsored by Adidas, which beat out Nike and Under Armour in getting Langford to play for its sponsored AAU team.

Former Louisville coach Rick Pitino spoke to the Post, alleging the Adidas sponsorship had something to do with it.

The Langfords say the decision was based on basketball and not on which team Adidas sponsors.
