Thursday’s business headlines

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Here’s a look at Thursday’s business headlines.

TSA

As many as 40% of U.S. airport security screeners haven’t been vaccinated for COVID-19.

Bloomberg reports many Transportation Security Administration workers are resisting the requirement as the Nov. 22 deadline approaches.

The union chief said there could be staffing shortages during the December holidays if the agency takes a hard line on unvaccinated workers.

Airlines

American and British Airways are offering free COVID tests for business travelers.

The offer is being made through American Express’s travel unit, applies to flights between the U.S. and U.K on the two airlines, who are allies on North Atlantic routes, starting in early 2022.

Papa John’s

Papa John’s is the latest restaurant brand to give itself a makeover.

The pizza chain on Tuesday unveiled a number of changes, including a new logo, new advertising and new restaurant designs.

The changes are geared toward spotlighting the chain’s ingredients and refreshing the look of the brand and its restaurants.
