Tuesday’s business headlines

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Here’s a look at Tuesday’s business headlines.

Colts

The Indianapolis Colts will be the first team in the NFL sponsored by Caesars in a deal that includes enticing fans with a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas.

Caesars will sponsor a free game called “Pick 6 Predictor” on the Colts app that includes weekly prizes and the chance to win a stay at a Caesars Entertainment property in Las Vegas. Caesars will also integrate Colts promotion into its Indiana sports-betting app “pending regulatory approval.”

Kroger

Kroger announced a wide-ranging diversity and inclusion plan.

It includes a commitment to nearly triple the amount it spends with diverse suppliers and provides voter registration applications in stores.

The plan has 10 parts and also includes training for employees.

Halloween

Can going overboard on Halloween make up for a miserable 2020? Probably not but a new LendingTree survey says most parents are going to give it a try.

Nearly three in four parents with kids under 18 say they’re planning to spend more on this Halloween because their kids have already missed out on so many other celebrations this year.

Dads are far more likely than moms to spend more this Halloween.

IRS

The IRS has extended the deadline for Americans to register for full stimulus money.

The deadline to register for the money – up to $1,200 for one person and $3,900 for a family of five – to Nov. 21.

IRS.gov has registration info.
