Car drives into Indiana hair salon; driver charged with OWI
FARMERSBURG, Ind. – A hair salon in Farmersburg has a hole in the side of its building after a car plowed into it Friday morning.
According to the owner of Heather’s Design on Main Street, a man drove into the building around 7:30 a.m.
The driver, Eric Gettinger, was charged with OWI. He was placed in the Sullivan County Jail in Sullivan.
Despite there being a hole in the waiting area of the beauty shop, the business remained open for business.
Farmersburg, a town of about 1,100, is located about 55 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
