Chilly end to the weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’ll experience below average temperatures as we wrap up the month of March.
Sunday:
The system responsible for steady rain for much of the day Saturday, and followed by snow showers Saturday evening has moved to the east. In its wake, much colder and drier air has settled in. Temps in the 20’s Sunday morning will likely only make it to the middle and upper 30s this afternoon; a good 20°-25° below average for this time of year.
Sunday Night:
It will be clear, quiet and cold heading into the overnight hours. Lows will fall to the middle 20s by Monday morning.
Monday:
It will be a quiet start to the month of April. We’ll see our highs modify a bit, but still remain close to 10° below average, with highs near 50°.
8 day forecast:
It will be a quiet stretch for the first half of the work week. Highs will gradually warm through the week, pushing into the lower 60s by Wednesday. The next system of interest will arrive Thursday and Friday, with showers likely both days. Temperatures should remain slightly above average for the back half of the extended forecast.
