Chilly tonight with more rain late Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)– It’s going to be windy and chilly this Friday evening.

Winds may gust as high as 20-25 miles per hour. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s north of Indianapolis and lower 40s in the city.

Saturday will be chilly but dry at the start of the day. Clouds will begin to increase throughout the day with rain developing later in the afternoon.

Temperatures will be a few degrees below normal. Highs will climb into the upper 50s and low 60s.

Showers with a few thunderstorms are likely Saturday night and some rain may be heavy at times.

Look for a dry and sunny end to the weekend. It’s going to be breezy with highs about 10 degrees below normal. Highs will stay in the 50s for much of the afternoon.

More rain returns to the area on Monday. Showers and even a few thunderstorms will be possible on and off throughout the day Monday.

Temperatures will climb back into the 70s for next week. But it’s going to be an active week. We’ll see several chances for showers and even a few thunderstorms several days next week.
