Chilly weekend ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Look for a few scattered showers this evening with mostly cloudy skies. 

Winds continue to be pretty gusty through the night tonight. Westerly winds gust to about 20-30 miles per hour tonight. Sustained winds will be between 10-15 miles per hour. 

Clouds begin to clear after midnight across central Indiana. Lows fall into the middle to upper 20s. 

We’ll see lots of sunshine on Saturday but temperatures will be running about 10 degrees below normal. Highs will be in the low 40s. 

We may see a few flurries early Sunday morning. Little to no accumulation is expected. The clouds hang around Sunday and highs stay in the 40s. 

Sunshine returns next week and highs slowly begin to warm up. There’s a chance for a little light rain late Wednesday night but otherwise we’re in store for a pretty quiet week.  

Highs start in the 40s on Monday and climb into the 50s by the end of the week.
