CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – One man has been arrested following a Clinton County traffic stop.
According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s office, a vehicle, traveling west on State Road 28 and driven by 25-year-old Donte Champ, was pulled over Monday for a traffic violation.
During the stop, deputies said they discovered Champ, who initially provided them with a fake name, had several outstanding nationwide extradition warrants for escape, resisting law enforcement and weapons violations.
In addition to providing a fake name and the warrants, Champ was also arrested for never having obtained a driver’s license and possession of marijuana.
