Cloudy and cool Monday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a few showers earlier Sunday, more light showers may be possible in the evening, especially north of the city.

The showers begin to wind down after midnight. Skies stay cloudy with temperatures falling into the lower 40s.

We may see a few sprinkles early Monday morning, but most of us will stay cloudy and chilly. It’s still cloudy around lunchtime but clouds begin to break up for the late afternoon.

It stays cool for another day. Temperatures start in the 40s and only climb into the upper 50s close to 60 for the afternoon. Our normal high for this time of year is 72.

Tuesday is looking fantastic. We’ll see lots of sunshine throughout the day and highs will climb into the upper 60s, close to 70.

Clouds return late Tuesday night and into Wednesday as a storm system approaches. This brings us a good chance for a few showers on Wednesday.

Highs continue to climb through the rest of the week. We’ll see upper 70s by the end of the week and even lower 80s are possible by next weekend. Overall pretty quiet weather but there is a chance for a little rain late Thursday night into early Friday morning.
