Cloudy and cool Mother’s Day
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A few isolated showers will be around to add to the raw conditions Sunday.
Sunday:
A system moving through the Midwest just to our south is just close enough for cloudy cover and some spotty light showers around the area. Look for this trend to continue for the remainder of our Sunday.
Temperatures will run cool, only hitting the lower to middle 50s later Sunday – a good 15°-20° below average for this part of the month.
Tonight:
Cloud cover will hang around Sunday night. Again, a few spotty light showers will be possible. Lows will fall to the middle 40s.
Monday:
Conditions will slowly improve through the day, with a few isolated showers possible for the morning. Late morning into the afternoon will see decreasing clouds. Highs should hit the upper 50s and lower 60s.
8 day forecast:
There will be a nice warming trend on tap for the rest of the extended forecast. Only isolated to scattered rain chances for Wednesday. A few models want to squeeze out rain for Friday and Sunday, but for now chances seem relaitvely low. We’ll keep an eye on it.
