Coats responds to KKK allegations

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana Senator Dan Coats fired back at a hacker’s accusations Monday that he has ties to the Ku Klux Klan.

The hacker released a video naming various senators and U.S. mayors, all of whom the video accuses being tied to the KKK. Coats was named, with the video saying he has ties to the United Northern and Southern Knights of the KKK.

Coats tweeted in response, saying the claim isn’t true. 24-Hour News 8 reached out to Coats’ office, who said the tweets speak for themselves.
