Columbus man sentenced to 10 years for dealing meth
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — A Columbus man found guilty of dealing methamphetamine was sentenced to 10 years in prison, according to 24-Hour News 8 partner The Republic.
David A. Swift, 27, was convicted of the level 4 felony during a trial in July.
The judge ordered Swift to serve the final two years of his sentence on probation.
Swift was found guilty of selling more than a gram of meth to a police informant in October of 2014.
The purchase took place near Northside Middle School in Columbus, according to a probable cause affidavit, The Republic reports.
