Comfortable day with temperatures trending warmer late week
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few spots could see some haze Wednesday morning but those will be very isolated in nature. A great start to the morning with a partly sunny sky! Cool start but temperatures will warm up nicely through the afternoon with highs once again in the mid 70s. We’ll keep the quiet and dry stretch through Thursday afternoon brings more sunshine but a warmer one! highs will break into the lower 80s for everybody tomorrow afternoon.
By the end of the week, highs will continue to climb to the mid 80s with lots of sunshine. This weekend is shaping up to be a lot better than last weekend. Highs are expected to stay in the mid 80s with lots of sunshine with humidity building during the later half of the weekend.
Hurricane Florence is still a category 4 hurricane with winds upwards of 160 mph moving NW at 17 mph. Florence is expected to make landfall as a category 3 hurricane and linger along the coast for a day or two leaving behind catastrophic flooding with spots picking up a dangerous 35″ of water.
Left overs from Florence could impact Indiana late Monday through Tuesday with scattered rain showers. Not expecting heavy rain with remnants of Florence.
