ISDH: More than 670 new COVID-19 cases; 15 more deaths

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – On Wednesday, the Indiana State Department of Health announced 671 new COVID-19 cases and 15 additional deaths.

The new COVID-19 cases are from between Aug. 5 and Aug. 11 while the newly announced deaths are from between Aug. 3 and Aug. 11.

In total, there are 76,522 COVID-19 cases and 2,878 deaths related to the virus in Indiana.

According to the department, there have been 1,097,934 tests administered in the state.

According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 20,306,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 12,601,000 recoveries and more than 741,000 deaths.
