ISDH: More than 950 new COVID-19 cases; 11 more deaths

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – On Thursday, the Indiana State Department of Health announced 955 more COVID-19 cases and 11 additional deaths.

The new COVId-19 cases are from between Aug. 14 and Aug. 19 while the newly reported deaths are from between Aug. 1 and Aug. 19.

In total, there are 83,277 COVID-19 cases and 2,979 deaths related to the virus in Indiana.

According to the department, there have been 1,219,850 tests administered in the state.

According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 22,423,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 14,346,000 recoveries and more than 787,000 deaths.
