Noblesville Schools updates mask rules
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Noblesville Schools is modifying its mask mandate.
Effective immediately, masks are now optional for fans at public extracurricular activities.
Students and staff will still have to wear masks during the school day.
Leaders say that could change in January if:
- A building has a positivity rate of one percent or less for two weeks.
- And quarantine rates fall below three percent for two weeks.
School officials say more students getting vaccinated has resulted in fewer “close contact” quarantines.
