Woman killed in hit-and-run, police seeking suspect

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run Friday on the city’s southwest side, police say.

Around 10 p.m. Friday, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3300 block of South Rybolt Avenue on reports of a hit and run involving a pedestrian.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition died shortly after arriving.

Based on parts collected at the scene, police believe the suspect’s vehicle is a white 2013-2019 Ford Taurus.

The Taurus will have damage to the front corner, as well as headlight damage.
