1 shot on east side, in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in critical condition following a shooting on the city’s east side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Just after 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of South Kitley Avenue for a report of a person shot.
IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and located the victim who was in critical condition.
The victim was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital.
No victim or suspect information has been released.
