1 shot, seriously injured on southwest side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in serious condition after a shooting on the city’s southwest side Thursday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Just before 5:15 a.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Ingomar Street for a report of a person shot.
IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The person was transported to the hospital in Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.
No suspect or victim information has been released.
