2 charged with murder in Pendleton man’s April death
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Two people were arrested and charged with murder, among other crimes, in connection to the April death of a 50-year-old Pendleton man.
Katrina Fouts, 54, of Pendleton, and Terry Hopkins, 64, of Richmond, both face murder charges in the death of David Fouts. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Katrina and David Fouts were husband and wife.
The body of David Michael Fouts was found in a ditch in the 21500 block of Overdorf Road, northeast of Noblesville, around 3:15 p.m. on April 24. Based on the circumstances, the deputies determined the man likely did not die at the location where he was found and a multi-agency investigation was launched.
Katrina Fouts has been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, false informing and failure to report a corpse. Hopkins was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and failure to report a corpse.
It is unclear how Fouts died.
