23-year-old woman dies after shooting outside pizza pub

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman has died after a Nov. 3 shooting outside a bar on the east side of Indianapolis.

Sierre Peace, 23, died Friday, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release Friday night. 

The shooting happened just before 10:30 p.m. Nov. 3.  Officers were called to O B’s Pizza Pub and Eatery, 2102 Mitthoeffer Road, where Peace was found shot. She was taken to a hospital and initially listed in critical condition. 

Officials said they believed Peace was shot in the parking lot as she was leaving the bar. Investigators were looking at cameras at nearby businesses for possible clues.

No one else was hurt in the shooting.
