4 shot on the south side, 1 critically injured

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Four people were shot on the city’s south side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

The shooting happened in the area of Perry Park on Stop 11 Road just before 1 a.m. Wednesday.

All of the four victims were under 20 years old, two of whom were minors.

One of those minors shot was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A second person shot was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police said four people have been detained and are being questioned in relation to the shooting.
