Body found in woods in Shelby County

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Police are investigating a body that was discovered in a wooded area in Shelbyville, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
The body was discovered Sunday in the 2900 block of Old Franklin Road.
The victim’s identity and cause of death have not yet been released.
Police did not say if they suspect foul play.
Police by May 20, 2022, had yet to provide an update to News 8.
