Crime Stoppers looking for fugitive sex offender

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana is asking for help locating a man wanted for failure to register as a sex offender, possession of child pornography with an aggravating factor and driving while suspended with a prior conviction.
Law enforcement in Marion County is searching for Joel Sterrett, 40, who stands 5-foot-11 and weighs around 190 pounds.
Sterrett was originally convicted of possession of child pornography with an aggravating factor in Marion County in 2018.
Anyone with information on Sterrett’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477 (TIPS).
