Danville police seek help to catch suspect in cash theft

Man suspected of stealing from cash exchange machine in Danville, Indiana

DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A cash machine was broken into Saturday, and Danville Metropolitan Police Department said Tuesday it is looking for help to identify the suspect.

Police released images of the suspect. They said the suspect walked into the Super Clean Coin-op Laundry, 545 E. Main St. That’s near Ellis Park. 

The suspect used a tool to punch the locks of two money-exchange machines and got away with $2,500 in quarters and cash, police said.

Police said another man and a woman were in a car with the suspect.
