FBI serves warrant at Carmel home

FBI raids Carmel home

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — The FBI has served a search warrant at a house in Carmel.

The FBI confirmed the search and said it was carried out with assistance from the Carmel Police Department.

News 8 saw investigators at 11593 Mansfield Place. They carried out boxes and put them in vehicles.

“I was leaving but I couldn’t get out this entrance because it was blocked by police, two SUVs, and there were at least six cars lined up,” said Laurie Spack, who walks dogs in the area.

People who live in the neighborhood near 116th and Towne Road in Carmel said the people who lived in the home kept to themselves.

“It’s a little scary because we don’t know who lives there. They haven’t lived there very long. Less than a year. We saw a man he took really good care of the yard. I think there was an older couple there living with him. That’s all we know,” said Lisa Sharlow, who lives in the area.

Neighbors also told News 8 the house had been raided by police on another occasion in the last year.

News 8 looked into the property records on who owns the home and reached out to the listed homeowner, but did not hear back.

No other information about the situation has been released.
