IMPD arrests 23-year-old man in shooting death of 58-year-old man
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Homicide detectives have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with Thursday shooting death of a 58-year-old man.
Martin Griffin died shortly after being taken to a hospital. Officers found him shot outside a home about 9:15 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of St. Paul Street. That’s in a residential area a few blocks southeast of the intersection of East Raymond Street and South Keystone Avenue.
Formal charges are pending against Kyle Roberts. A news release issued Tuesday from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Roberts’ jail-booking photo was not available. The release also did not include information on where Roberts lives. His case has not yet been filed in online court records as the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office determines what criminal charges to file. Roberts was arrested Monday.
Anyone with information on the case was asked to call Detective Gary Smith in the IMPD homicide office at 317-327-3475 or e-mail at Gary.Smith@Indy.gov.
