IMPD hopes photo of tattoo will help to ID woman found dead on east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead on the city’s east side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

IMPD said they were called to the 300 block of North Hamilton Avenue just after 12 p.m. on Feb. 13 for a report of an unresponsive person.

After getting to the scene, officers located a woman who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are now trying to identify the woman and are asking for the public’s help.

The woman is described as being 5’2″ tall, having a slender to medium build and weighing 118 pounds. She also has tattoo of a spider on her shoulder.

A photo of the tattoo was provided by IMPD on March 5.
