INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man who was found shot at the scene of a car crash Saturday night has died, police say.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the area of East 38th Street and North College just after 10:10 p.m. on reports of a crash. When officers arrived they had found a man who was involved in the crash had been shot.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and later died.
Police believe the victim was shot before the crash occurred. He has since been identified as 19-year-old Tre’von Sanford.
