INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — IMPD has released video of a police shooting that occurred in November in a northside neighborhood.

IMPD says it began when officers attempted to pull over Demarqus Whitley and Leandre Houston. IMPD says Whitley was wanted in connection to stolen guns in the Broad Ripple area. Investigators say the pursuit ended in Ruskin Place where the two ran from the car. Bodycam video shows Houston running behind a house where he’s confronted by an officer.

IMPD says Houston was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Investigators say a gun was recovered at the scene near where Houston was shot. Whitley was taken into custody without incident and faces multiple charges.
