IMPD: Vehicle located in fatal hit-and-run of woman

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police have found a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said Sunday morning that the vehicle in the Friday evening incident in the 3300 South Rybolt has been found.

Around 10 p.m. Friday, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3300 block of South Rybolt Avenue on reports of a hit and run involving a pedestrian.

Justice Draffen, 26, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and died shortly after arriving, IMPD said. The Marion County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified Drafften.

Police have not said if a suspect was in custody.

The fatal incident remained under investigation.
