Kokomo firefighter faces criminal charges involving teen nanny

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – A Kokomo firefighter is facing criminal charges after he flashed a teenage girl, authorities said.

The firefighter is Thomas Granson II. According to court documents, the girl worked as a nanny for Granson.

Court documents said Granson came home from work one day, took a shower, then confronted the teen as she was doing laundry. The girl said that is when Granson dropped a towel he was wearing.

The fire department has placed Granson on indefinite, unpaid administrative leave.

Granson makes his next court appearance Aug. 24.
