Lebanon officer fires at vehicle in I-65 chase, suspects arrested

LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) – A police chase in Boone County Tuesday ended in gunfire and arrests, according to the Lebanon Police Department.

The chase happened on I-65.

The Lebanon Police Department says one of its officers used stop sticks to slow a car Whitestown police were chasing.

The department says the suspect’s car veered toward the officer, leading the officer to fire his gun.

No one was hurt and police say the suspects were taken into custody. However, they did not say how many people were arrested.
