Man dead in shooting on east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man has died after a Sunday shooting on the city’s east side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called around 5:57 p.m. Sunday to the 3600 block of Lesley Avenue, near 38th Street and Arlington Avenue.
Police initially reported the man, 33-year-old Hanson Arnold, was in critical condition, but around 6:50 p.m. said he had died.
No information about a possible suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting have been released.
