Man shot on near east side, in serious condition
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in serious condition after being shot on the city’s near east side Sunday evening.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 1000 block of North Rural Street for a report of a person shot just before 11 p.m.
IMPD said a man was shot in the back parking lot of a gas station. The was walking when he was shot.
He was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
No suspect or victim information has been released.
