Man’s death on near north side deemed homicide

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man’s Sunday death is being treated as a homicide, police said Monday.

IMPD said on Aug. 9 around 10:45 p.m. officers were called to the 3700 block of North Meridian Street for a report of a possibly deceased person.

After arriving on the scene, officers found a man who had died from apparent trauma.

The death has been ruled a homicide.

No victim or possible suspect information has been released.
