Police believe man found dead at home on near-east side was killed

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police believe a man found with trauma at a home on Thursday morning was killed.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was just before 8 a.m. Thursday to a report of a possible “dead on arrival” in the first block of North Jefferson Street. That’s north of East Washington Street between I-70 and South Rural Street on the near-east side.

IMPD, in a news release issued Thursday afternoon, did not indicate if there is a suspect.

The coroner’s office has since identified the victim as 54-year-old Victor Glover.
