Police seeking tips after hotel robbed on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are seeking help locating a man that robbed a hotel on the city’s northwest side.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the LaQuinta Inn at 3880 W. 92nd St. was robbed in the early morning hours of Dec. 11, 2018.

Investigators say a man entered the hotel, implied a dark object wrapped in a cloth was a gun and demanded money.

He fled in an older-model, extended bed pickup truck. Police say the pickup truck was being driven by another individual.

Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned black male that is possibly in his 40s, and 5’10”, 170 pounds with a stocky build. He was wearing a black stocking hat, a dark bandanna, a black leather coat, a dark blue button-down shirt, a black glove on his left hand, black pants and black shoes.

Investigators believe the pair may be connected to other local hotel robberies.
